Louisville state representative temporarily suspended

The Kentucky House Democratic Caucus voted to suspend Rep. Daniel Grossberg on Wednesday.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Party leaders suspended a Louisville state representative on Wednesday. 

According to a statement from House Democrats, Representative Daniel Grossberg was temporarily suspended from the caucus. 

They also requested a formal investigation into his conduct by the Legislative Ethics Commission. 

Grossberg represents a district just outside the Watterson Expressway which includes Poplar Hills, Watterson Park and West Buechel. 

Full statement:

“This morning, Kentucky House Democratic Caucus members voted to temporarily suspend state Representative Daniel Grossberg from the caucus and to request a formal investigation by the Legislative Ethics Commission.  We believe this is the appropriate organization to review the issues that have been raised.  Given the sensitive nature of these allegations, we have no further comment at this time.”
