LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The University of Louisville football team played one of its most complete games of the season Saturday to improve its standing as we inch closer to bowl season.

The Cardinals (7-4, 5-3 ACC) knocked off Pitt (7-4, 3-4) 37-9, rebounding from a devastating loss the week prior at Stanford. Quarterback Tyler Shough completed 17 of 28 passes for 293 yards and two touchdowns, and running back Isaac Brown carried it 13 times for 93 yards and two scores.

Louisville turns its attention to rivalry week against Kentucky (4-7, 1-7 SEC) to close out the regular season in Lexington. The Wildcats are coming off a 31-14 loss to Texas, and have lost five of their last six.

UofL-UK will kick off Saturday at noon.
