LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The University of Louisville football team moved up in the College Football Playoff rankings Tuesday for the second week in a row.
The Cardinals (9-1, 6-1 ACC) climbed one spot to No. 10 in the latest rankings, which were announced Tuesday at 9 p.m. UofL leapfrogged Penn State and Ole Miss after each team lost last weekend.
However Missouri (8-2, 4-2 SEC) passed the Cardinals and landed at No. 9 after beating Tennessee.
Louisville has been one of the biggest surprises of the season under first year head coach Jeff Brohm. There are multiple scenarios in which his team can punch their ticket to the ACC championship game this weekend - some more complicated than others.
The easiest route? Beat Miami on Saturday.
"Everybody has probably looked at the internet and seen all the scenarios," Brohm said during his Monday news conference. "When I try to look at it, I can't figure it out. So the only one I know of is if we win, good things will happen. We've got to go to Miami and find a way to win on their homefield. That would be a huge accomplishment by itself."

Saturday's game starts at noon on WHAS11.
Unbeaten Florida State (10-0, 8-0) has already clinched a spot in the title game. The Seminoles are ranked No. 4 in the CFP rankings.
Michigan is No. 3, Ohio State is No. 2 and Georgia is No. 1.

Louisville is coming off a come-from-behind 31-24 victory over Virginia last Thursday.
Isaac Guerendo rushed for a 73-yard, go-ahead touchdown with 3:24 remaining as the Cardinals rallied with 17 points in the fourth quarter to beat the Cavaliers.
Guerendo carried six times for 94 yards. Jawhar Jordan had 95 yards on 17 attempts, including 42-yard burst that set up Louisville's first score, a 4-yard toss from Jack Plummer to Joey Gatewood.
Plummer was 19 of 28 for 243 yards passing.
