LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The University of Louisville football team will play its biggest game of the season Saturday sporting new black uniforms.
The team revealed the all-black theme on social media Thursday, ahead of Saturday's game against No. 6 Miami and L&N Stadium. You can watch the game at noon on WHAS11.
Photos shared to UofL football's X account show black helmets with "Cards" written in white script font. The helmets red facemasks.
Black jerseys, pants, shoes and gloves complete the look. The jerseys contain a silver pattern on the shoulders.
Fans on social media gave rave reviews.
"Need these in EA Sports College Football ASAP," one X user said.
"Straight up, white-hot FIRE," another said.
The Cardinals (4-2, 2-1 ACC) are 5-point underdogs against the Hurricanes (6-0, 2-0 ACC).
