PGA Championship officials ready to feed hundreds of thousands of people

Championship Plus ticket holders will have food and non-alcoholic drinks included with their tickets.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — PGA Championship officials have said that the 2024 tournament will be the biggest in its 106-year history. Concession workers said they are prepared to feed hundreds of thousands of patrons throughout the weekend.

Officials with the Patina Restaurant Group, who oversee the restaurants and concessions for the PGA Championships, said they’re trying to create the most fan-friendly concession experience at Valhalla Golf Club.

The hope is to eliminate the wait and get the fans back to watching the championship golf that they came to see.

Because of that many of the tickets sold this year are called “Championship Plus.”

If you have a "plus" ticket, then you will receive a wristband once you arrive at Valhalla. That wristband entitles you to entrees, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks at any of the market concession stands on the course.

Alcoholic beverages will be an added cost, however.

There are seven market concession stands spaced across the course along with six pouring bars and three express bars. There will also be nine water stations on the course as well.
