LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Tiger Woods is aiming to win his fifth PGA Championship this week at the same course where he won his second.
The 15-time major champion won at Valhalla Golf Club in 2000 and he's sure to have a massive gallery 24 years later. The tournament announced first and second round pairings Tuesday, and Woods will be playing the first two days with Adam Scott and Keegan Bradley.
The group will tee off Thursday at 8:04 a.m., and Friday at 1:29 p.m.
Woods is playing for the first time since The Masters in April. He made the cut, but struggled on the weekend shooting 82-77 to finish in 60th place.
"My body is OK; it is what it is," Woods said during his Tuesday news conference. "I wish my game was a little sharper. I don't have a lot of competitive reps, so I've had to rely on my practice sessions and getting stuff done either at home or on site. I need to be ready, physically and mentally, come Thursday."
