St. Xavier-Trinity high school football game postponed due to Helene

The game was originally scheduled for Friday at L&N Stadium.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The biggest high school football rivalry in Louisville will have to wait one more day.

The game between St. Xavier and Trinity will now be played Saturday at 5:30 p.m. due to rain and wind from Hurricane Helene. The game was originally to be held Friday night.

According to a post on St. X's X account, the game will now be played at St. X's stadium. The game was initially set for L&N Stadium.

You can live stream the game on WHAS11.com and the WHAS11+ app, which is available to download for free on Roku, FireTV and AppleTV.

According to the post, more information regarding tickets and parking will be released soon.

Helene forced many games to be rescheduled from Friday to Thursday. JCPS canceled all Friday games.
