These Kentucky high school football games have been rescheduled due to Hurricane Helene

Heavy rain and high winds are expected Friday.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Hurricane Helene is expected to impact Louisville Friday, and area high schools are making adjustments to the football schedule.

The following games originally scheduled for Friday will now be played Thursday:

  • Manual High School vs. Christian Academy of Louisville: 7 p.m. at Manual.
  • LaRue County vs. Kentucky Country Day: 7:30 p.m. at KCD.
  • Jeffersontown vs. Doss: 7 p.m. at Doss.
  • North Bullitt vs. Seneca: 7:30 p.m. at Seneca.

The DeSales at Western game was already scheduled for Thursday at 7 p.m.

Helene reached hurricane status Wednesday and is expected to become a major hurricane by the time it makes landfall in Florida. In Louisville, heavy rain and strong winds are expected Friday.
