LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Pegasus Parade is a key event in the two-week-long Kentucky Derby Festival.
It showcases marching bands, equestrian units, inflatable characters and colorful floats.
The Pegasus Parade is one of the largest in the country. Event officials said it contributes an estimated impact of more than $22 million to the local economy.
The parade will take place on Sunday, Apr. 28 at 3 p.m. It will travel west on Broadway from Campbell to 9th Street. It's expected to last two and a half hours.
These roads will be closed/restricted:
