LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The highly anticipated 150th Kentucky Derby is just days away.
Well over 100,000 people are expected to come to Churchill Downs in Louisville to be a part of the action. But how much are tickets being sold for this historic event?
If you haven't gotten your ticket yet, but want to see the "greatest two minutes in sports," there are many ways to experience the day from inside the track or watching from the stands.

However, you will have to pay a pretty penny as tickets are sold out through Churchill Downs and only available on resale websites.
The average face value ticket price for this year's race was a record-high $1,250. The average price was under $400 just 10 years ago.
As of noon on May 1, the available seating options to buy on Ticketmaster are infield general admission (standing room only with no track view), infield final turn general admission (standing room only with no track view), reserved seating, dining and premier dining. Frontside plaza walkaround seats are sold out.
Here are the prices for each section:
- Infield general admission: $130
- Infield final turn general admission: Ranging from $275-$859+
- Reserved seating: Ranging from $1,000-$2,590+
- Dining: Ranging from $1,667-$8,237+
- Premier dining: Ranging from $5,814-$12,434+
The Kentucky Derby also offers "Derby Experiences" tickets which include tickets to the event and other accommodations. There are options for the Turf Club, Stakes Room Balcony, Stakes Room, Club SI, The Woodford Reserve Paddock Club and the Homestretch Club | Rail Lounges of the 10. As of noon on May 1, tickets are being sold ranging from $7,399-$12,333.
If you really want to splurge, private suites are being sold starting at a whopping $135,000 and ranging to nearly $300,000.
Before tickets sold out, tickets for infield final turn general admission started at $275, reserved seating started at $650, frontside plaza walkaround seating started at $693 and dining experiences started at $1,375.
