LOUISVILLE, Ky. — University of Louisville wide receiver Jamari Thrash will forgo his final year of eligibility and not play in the Holiday Bowl against USC on Dec. 27.
Thrash led the Cards in receiving with 63 receptions for 858 yards and six touchdowns in his lone season, according to UofL.
The junior finished fourth in the ACC in receptions and third in yards while leading the Cards to a 10-3 mark and an appearance in the ACC title game, UofL said. He is also a second team All-Atlantic Coast Conference honoree.
Thrash recorded a pair of 100-yard receiving contests in 12 games, according to UofL. The Georgia native totaled a career high 159 yards on four receptions in a 21-14 win over Indiana and caught a season high nine passes for 120 yards in a road contest at Pittsburgh.
Jawhar Jordan, the starting running back, is also skipping the Holiday Bowl to prepare for the NFL draft.
Thrash has accepted an invitation to play in the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama on Feb. 3, 2024.
