Here's how you can send well wishes to Virginia RB Perris Jones as he continues to recover in Louisville

Jones was injured while playing against Louisville on Nov. 9 and underwent successful spine surgery.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Virginia running back Perris Jones has been moved from the hospital to a rehabilitation center a week after undergoing successful spine surgery.

Jones was injured in a Nov. 9 game while playing against Louisville.

He took a hard hit on his helmet shortly after catching a pass and later fumbling the football. Jones was placed on a stretcher and carted off the field.

Virginia Football said after Jones’ successful surgery, he was able to walk “briefly” but needed continued care.

He was moved from UofL’s Medical Center to Frazier Rehab where he will spend the next several weeks.

Jones will not be able to get home for the holidays and UofL Health is asking all Louisville fans to send him well wishes during his stay.
