Athletes from Kentucky and Indiana going for gold at 2024 Olympic Games

Athletes from the Hoosier and Bluegrass states are headed to Paris in their quest to bring home the gold.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The opening ceremonies for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris kick off on Friday with the entire world gathering for the next two weeks to watch the best athletes compete.

University of Louisville fans will recognize Hailey Van Lith who is competing in the 3x3 basketball events while former University of Kentucky and NBA stars Devin Booker and Anthony Davis will represent Team USA on the basketball team.

Below are a variety of athletes representing their respective sports and universities in the Olympic games.
