How to get $1 Krispy Kreme doughnuts to celebrate the Olympics and Team USA

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Are you enjoying the Summer Olympics in Paris? You can celebrate Team USA with dollar doughnuts at Krispy Kreme.

The doughnut shop is holding two deals this week as part of their "Go for the Glaze" Olympics promotion. First, on Wednesday, July 31, you can get $1 doughnuts – any type of doughnut – in participating stores, no limit, while supplies last.

Here is a list of the participating shops posted on their website: 

Louisville - 7th Street Road

Open until 10 p.m.

3920 Seventh Street Rd.

Louisville - Shelbyville Road

Open until 9 p.m.

13319 Shelbyville Rd.

Jeffersonville, Indiana - Veterans Parkway

Open until 8 p.m.

1575 Veterans Pkwy.

Then, on Thursday, Aug. 1, members of the Krispy Kreme Rewards loyalty program can get $1 Original Glazed doughnuts available in stores and via the Krispy Kreme website and app while supplies last.

Customers can get the Go USA Doughnuts collection, which includes four of each of the following:

• Go USA Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut hand-dipped in white icing and decorated with red icing stripes and blue and gold sprinkles.
• Chocolate Iced Glazed with Sprinkles Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing and topped with patriotic sprinkles.
• Original Glazed Doughnut.

The Go USA Collection is also available individually and in a 3-pack. Select stores will sell the Go USA doughnuts in a 6-pack.

Krispy Kreme is also offering Paris-themed doughnuts for a limited time.

The Krispy Kreme location on Bardstown Road in Louisville is temporarily closed due to a fire.
