LOUISVILLE, Ky (WHAS11) — For the Cards, the story of the game was penalties and one, in particular, stood out.
In the third quarter, senior tight end Micky Crum began arguing with a referee and was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Then, Crum and interim head coach Lorenzo Ward started going back and forth with and many suspected that Ward pointed to the locker room for Crum to leave the field. Crum didn't leave and actually re-entered the field of play later in the game. In the video above, Ward explains what happened.
