LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Four people, including two juveniles, were injured in a crash that shut down part of the Greenbelt Highway on Wednesday.

Louisville Mero Police said officers were called to the 10000 block of the Greenbelt around 2:20 p.m. on reports of a crash involving two vehicles.

When they arrived, police said they found a black Honda Accord and a red Ford Fusion had collided.

Authorities said Louisville Metro Fire firefighters extricated two people from the crash -- one was in each vehicle.

Two of those who were injured were taken to the hospital for treatment investigators said.

It's unclear how long the southbound Greenbelt lanes will be closed.
