LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The cause of a fatal crash is under investigation after two vehicles were involved in a crash at Taylorsville Road and Six Mile Lane on May 11 that left one person dead.
The Jeffersontown police said a pickup truck was headed northbound on Taylorsville Road, when, according to witnesses, a car approached the intersection but never appeared to hit the break.
Police said in their preliminary investigation, it appeared that a medical emergency was involved.
An elderly man was in the passenger car and was pronounced dead.
Two other people in the truck, an adult and a “pre-teen,” were sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No foul play, alcohol, or drugs are believed to be involved, according to police.
