All lanes blocked after vehicle fire on Louisville interstate

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — All the lanes are blocked on a portion of Interstate 65 in Louisville after a vehicle fire broke out on the interstate on Wednesday.

TRIMARC said this started at 6:47 p.m. on I-65 south at Eastern Parkway. The lanes are blocked between Eastern Parkway and Crittenden Drive according to first responders.

A WHAS11 reporter on the scene said the driver is okay, and that it was a truck carrying hay or straw that went up in flames.

The lanes were still blocked as of 11:40 p.m.
