LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police is investigating a collision that killed one person and sent two others to the hospital.
Police officers responded to Lower River Road near the Greenbelt around 2:15 p.m. Sunday afternoon according to authorities.
When officers arrived, police said they found a vehicle that had crashed into an electrical pole. It is unclear what happened.
One occupant died at the scene, while two others were sent to the hospital they are expected to survive investigators said.
LG&E and LMPD’s Traffic Unit responded to the scene.
