LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A person is dead after a fatal crash involving a flipped vehicle Thursday morning in Louisville.
At about 2:30 a.m., Louisville Metro police responded to a vehicle collision in the 4300 block of Preston Highway, according to an LMPD news release.
Investigators believe a vehicle was traveling northbound on Preston Highway when "for some unknown reason" the driver lost control of the vehicle, run up the curb and ultimately flipped the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating the fatal crash.
