An LMPD spokesperson said police responded to a call around 10 p.m. near the intersection of Eastern Parkway and Crittenden Drive by University of Louisville.
Police said when they arrived they had to transport the man to University Hospital, but couldn't determine how hurt he was.
Police said the driver remained at the scene, and they had the road between Crittenden and Concord closed for a short time. It has since been reopened.
