LOUISVILLE, Ky. — More lane restrictions are headed to the Sherman Minton Bridge.
According to officials, the left lane on the lower deck will be closed nightly on or after Wednesday and will continue through July 9. Crews will be adjusting the paint containment system and access points.
The scheduled closures are:
- Wednesday, July 5 from 10 p.m. until Thursday, July 6 at 6 a.m.
- Thursday, July 6 from 10 p.m. until Friday, July 7 at 6 a.m.
- Friday, July 7 from 10 p.m. until Saturday, July 8 at 9 a.m.
- Saturday, July 8 from 10 p.m. until Sunday, July 9 at 10 a.m.
The Interstate 264 westbound ramp to Interstate 64 west will be closed during those same times.
Additionally, the I-64 east left lane will be closed starting at 6 p.m. Friday until 1 p.m. Saturday, or until everything is completed officials said.
Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes in the meantime as delays are expected.
