LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Drivers who normally take I-64E to Story Ave. during their commute will need to follow a detour Monday morning.

According to Louisville MSD, crews need to repair a dip in the pavement where the ramp connects with Story Ave. so the ramp will be shut down starting at 9:30 a.m. to ensure the safety of the repair crews.

One lane of Story Ave. will still be open at the repair site.

Detour notices will be posted along I-64 Monday morning. Drivers heading eastbound will need to take the Grinstead Dr. exit, turn left onto Grinstead Dr., then turn left again to get back on I-64W to exit westbound onto Story Ave.

It is unclear how long the closure will last. Louisville MSD said there should be no disruptions to sewer or utility services during the repair.
