LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Two lanes of traffic are blocked Friday on I-65 South in downtown Louisville at Hospital Curve.

At about 11:15 a.m., crews began repairing potholes on I-65 South near Muhammad Ali Boulevard.

"The lane closures are necessary for KYTC crews to repair potholes on the bridge," Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials said.

As of noon, the two left lanes are closed and the right-most lane is open to traffic.

Traffic cameras appear to show several crew members repairing the roadway with asphalt.

KYTC officials estimate the lanes will be closed until 2 p.m. on Friday.

"Motorists should heed signage, expect travel delays, and seek an alternate route," KYTC said in a news release.
