'Toll upgrades' will close lanes of Lewis & Clark Bridge

The closures are expected from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Wednesday.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Motorists who use the Lewis and Clark Bridge between Kentucky and southern Indiana should get ready for some minor traffic disruptions.

The inside lane and shoulder in both directions will be closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Wednesday.

The Indiana Department of Transportation said it is upgrading equipment as part of RiverLink’s transition to a new toll service provider.

RiverLink recently announced new toll rates beginning July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024 that will range from $2.52 to $15.09 for the Lewis and Clark, Kennedy and the Lincoln Bridge.
