Repairs completed after pavement collapse on Baxter Ave., portion of road remains closed

Traffic detours will remain in place while the concrete cures.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro crews have finished repairs on a break in a manhole column which caused a pavement cave-in on Baxter Avenue.

The cave-in prompted a road closure in the 990 block of Baxter Avenue Monday.

The areas impacted are the northbound lanes of Baxter Avenue, which is south of Highland Avenue. Traffic detours will remain in place while the concrete cures.
