Coroner identifies man in fatal rollover crash in Louisville

Louisville Metro Police said they responded to the crash around 7:45 p.m.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Jefferson County Coroner's Office identifies 33-year-old Tyler Haraldson as the victim in the fatal rollover crash that happened on Bardstown Road at Interstate 265 Friday evening.

Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) said they responded to the crash around 7:45 p.m.

According to their preliminary investigation and witness statements, investigators found a man was driving on the Gene Snyder when he somehow lost control of his vehicle.

LMPD said the car went onto the shoulder and then flipped down the side of the embankment, landing upside down in the northbound lanes of Bardstown Road.

First responders transported him to the hospital, where he died shortly after arriving police said.

No other vehicles were involved in this incident, and LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating.
