LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A roadway in Old Louisville is blocked off Monday after a major water main break.
At about 7 a.m., Louisville Water Company posted on Facebook that drivers should use an alternative route to avoid the water main break at 5th and West Kentucky streets near Memorial Auditorium.
As of 1:30 p.m., crews remain on scene and the roadway remains closed.
"We apologize for the inconvenience and we’re working quickly to restore service," Louisville Water Company said in a social media post.
