LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials will be busy in Louisville for the foreseeable future.
In a post on social media, KYTC said they are continuing to repair the Clark Memorial Bridge after a crash left a semi dangling over the edge on March 1, and that replacement steel is currently being fabricated.
A construction timeline is still being developed they said.
And officials are not only monitoring the Second Street Bridge, but also the Sherman Minton Bridge traffic impacts, after it suddenly closed on Friday due to structural concerns.
"Engineering teams on both projects are in constant communication and will coordinate efforts with the goal of fully reopening both structures safely and as quickly as possible," officials said.
