LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The rising water levels in downtown Louisville have led to the closure of River Road Friday morning.
MetroSafe confirmed that crews were working to close down River Road between 4th Street and 7th Street on Feb. 14. Water from the river has started flooding onto the road and that water paired with the freezing temperatures have created icy spots.
As you exit from the interstate onto 3rd Street, you will be required to go straight. The 3rd Street exit ramp is still open at this time.
