Beginning Oct. 7, INDOT said crews will be conducting patchwork near Scottsburg and Seymour, Indiana.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Motorists traveling along I-65 in southern Indiana are being asked to be prepared for overnight lane closures.

The Indiana Department of Transportation said their crews will conduct temporary overnight right lane closures on northbound and southbound I-65 on Oct. 7.

The crews will be completing patching work near Scottsburg and Seymour.

The work will begin in the right lane of I-65 South at mile-marker 50 near Seymour and move south to mile-marker 25 just south of Scottsburg.

Then they will shift to the right lane of I-65 North at mile-marker 25 and finish the work at mile-marker 50 near Seymour.

INDOT expects the work to take up to four nights, weather permitting.

They are asking motorists to be mindful, slow down and use caution near work zones.
