Kentucky-Indiana bridge reopened after shutdown Monday morning

Both directions of the Second Street Bridge were blocked off due to a crash.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Editor's note: the above video first aired last week and is regarding a proposed project on I-64.

Both directions of the Clark Memorial Bridge between Indiana and Kentucky are open again after a shutdown due to a crash Monday morning.

At about 9 a.m., MetroSafe confirmed the Second Street Bridge was shutdown after an accident involving two vehicles on the bridge. 

Louisville Fire Department crews assisted in helping someone out of one of the vehicles involved in the crash.

It is unclear whether or not any injuries have been reported.

As of 11:30 a.m., both sides of the bridge are reopened.
