LOUISVILLE, Ky. — If you frequent the Sherman Bridge, there will be changes for in your weekend commute.
Beginning Friday, all eastbound lanes of I-64 will shut down around 10 p.m. and will not reopen until 5 a.m. on Monday.
The full weekend directional closure will allow crews to work on diamond grinding on the eastbound bridges and remove temporary support brackets used during phase two of the project.
During this closure, the eastbound ramp from West Spring Street will be closed along with the I-64 eastbound to I-264 eastbound ramp.
Motorists are urged to use I-265 to I-65.
