LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The lower deck of the Sherman Minton Bridge connecting Louisville to southern Indiana has reopened after being shut down Tuesday morning after a crash.
Officials posted the update on social media.
The incident was reported just after 10:30 a.m. on I-64 East-West at mile marker 0.4. All lanes, including both shoulders, were blocked.
According to Louisville Metro Police, a collision was reported at 10 a.m. involving at least two semi-trailers. One of the commercial vehicles lost its saddle tank, causing a fuel spill.
It's unknown if anyone was injured.
