NEW ALBANY, Ind. — A scheduled closure of an interstate ramp in Indiana has been rescheduled to Friday night.
According to a release from the Sherman Minton Renewal Project, the ramp from I-265E to I-65S will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3 until 6 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4.
During the closure, crews will be able to finalize the lane configurations that will be in place during the upcoming construction on the Sherman Minton Bridge. Officials with the project said the reconfigurations will allow all three lanes of I-65S to remain open where they merge with I-265.
The closure was rescheduled from Thursday to Friday night because of an equipment failure.
Temporary detour signs will be in place during the ramp closures.
