Toll rates for Louisville, Southern Indiana bridges to increase on July 1

Toll rates will increase for 3 bridges in the Louisville area – Lincoln Bridge, Kennedy Bridge and the Lewis and Clark Bridge.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — People traveling across toll bridges in the area will be paying a little more next month. Starting July 1, toll rates will increase for three bridges connecting Louisville and Southern Indiana – the Lincoln Bridge, the Kennedy Bridge and the Lewis and Clark Bridge.

Depending on the type of vehicle and the driver’s account with RiverLink, new toll rates will range from $2.15 to $12.93. RiverLink said drivers with prepaid accounts in good standing will pay the lowest rates.

Revenue generated from tolling helps pay for maintenance and operation of the bridges. Each year, the toll rate increases by around 2.5%.
