MOUNT WASHINGTON, Ky. — Are you looking for a weekend getaway in the Bluegrass State? Well we might have the perfect Airbnb for you.

Enjoy the luxuries of a hotel while being totally immersed in nature. "My Old Kentucky Dome" is located in Mount Washington on a private road that brings you to a countryside overlook.

For $263 a night, this "brand-new one of a kind geodesic dome" could be yours for a night or two (or more)!

This one-bedroom, one-bathroom dome features a private hot tub, a patio with a fireplace, a TV with Roku, a "well-stocked" kitchenette, living area, dining area, free parking on the premises, Wi-Fi, AC and heat. It has a King-size bed on the main floor, plus a loft with an additional full-size bed.

It can fit up to four people, and pets are welcome so you can bring your furry friend along for the adventure.

While this getaway experience is nestled deep in the woods, it's located 20 minutes from Bardstown and 30 minutes from Louisville.

Check-in is after 4:00 p.m. and check-out is before 11:00 a.m.

The hosts, Brandon & Trist, advise that there is a 1/2 mile gravel road to the dome that features a steep hill, so all wheel drive and four wheel drive vehicles are recommended.

According to Airbnb, the overall rating of the dome is a 5 star -- with ratings in cleanliness, accuracy, check-in, communication, location and value being unanimously 5 star as well.

"The incredible view at the dome has been our favorite spot for years. We decided to create a unique space to share it with others. We hope to get the chance to host you you soon!" the hosts said.
