LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Just weeks after Spirit Airlines' inaugural flights from Louisville (SDF), the airline launched a new nonstop flight to Pensacola (PNS).
“The Florida panhandle is a popular vacation area for travelers in the region. The start of service to Pensacola is just in time for summer travel and offers our customers an affordable and convenient option to get there,” Dan Mann, Executive Director of the Louisville Regional Airport Authority, said in a release.
According to Spirit, the seasonal flights from Pensacola to Louisville will be available Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Tickets may be purchased online at spirit.com.
Other nonstop flights offered from Louisville include service to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando. Service to Fort Myers and Tampa will begin later this year.
