LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Aurora Borealis, known as Northern Lights, were on full display in Kentuckiana and most of the United States last night and into early this morning.
When there is a specific interaction between the Earth's magnetic field and the sun's energy, it makes for a jaw-dropping sight in our sky!

It's not often the Northern Lights are visible in the Ohio River Valley and Kentuckiana but conditions were ideal for the phenomenon to occur to end the weekend and start the work week.
