Will it rain during the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade? | First Alert StormTeam

We are tracking rain Saturday morning with temperatures dropping in the afternoon.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The annual St. Patrick's Day Parade is happening this Saturday at 3 p.m. on Baxter Avenue and Bardstown Road. Here is the kind of weather you can expect.

We are tracking a system that will bring multiple rounds of rain starting on Friday. The front will pass through with a line of rain and isolated thunderstorms around 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. early Saturday morning.

The cold front is expected to pass through midday with lingering rain behind it. This means for the afternoon, it will be cloudy with a chance of lingering light rain.

After Saturday starting in the 50s, temperatures will be dropping into the 40s into the mid-afternoon. So plan for chilly weather.

The wind will be gusting around 20 to 25 mph bringing our wind chills into the upper 30s and low 40s.

Regardless, it should still be a very fun event rain or shine.
