Severe weather enters southern Indiana, Louisville: Latest weather alerts

The National Weather Service in Louisville issued the alert as a severe thunderstorm entered the region.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The National Weather Service in Louisville has canceled a tornado warning for southern Indiana and Louisville.

Officials said a radar indicated tornado was spotted near Corydon, Indiana around 1 p.m. 

That warning has since been canceled. 

Latest Severe Weather Alerts:

Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Breckinridge, Bullitt, Carroll, Franklin, Grayson, Hardin, Henry, Jefferson, Larue, Marion, Meade, Nelson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, Trimble and Washington Counties in Kentucky until 7 p.m.

Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Clark, Floyd and Harrison Counties in southern Indiana until 7 p.m.

On Wednesday, heavy rain caused flash flooding across southern Indiana and Kentucky.
