LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A popular holiday tradition is back this year. On the Fourth of July, kids 12 years old and younger can get a free ice cream cone if they are able to recite the Pledge of Allegiance at Diary Del in Louisville.

Dairy Del is located at 1516 Shelby Street. The ice cream shop announced the return of the promotion on July 1 on Facebook.

"Stop by with your friends, your family and get classic fast food and sweet treats at Dairy Del this 4th of July holiday," the post said.

The promotion is available during Dairy Del's business hours on July 4, 2019 only.
