LOUISVILLE, Ky. — It's a duo as old as time -- pizza and beer.
And Parlour Pizza is making that official by opening up a sixth location in its newest partnership with Falls City Beer Taproom.
"The Falls City Beer Taproom in the NuLu neighborhood is set to undergo a new transformation as Parlour steps in for a collaborative restaurant venture," a spokesperson for Parlour said in a news release.
The new location is will open at 901 E Liberty St. Louisville on Monday, Jan. 29. The grand opening celebration will take place from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and feature live music, the full Parlour Pizza menu, and a lively atmosphere.
The collaboration between Falls City Beer and Parlour Pizza has been in the works for a while, the release said, with Falls City Beer being "prominently featured" across Parlour locations.
“There are some moves that just make sense,” Don Robinson, Parlour Pizza franchising CEO & president, said. “And with the continued growth of NuLu, an opportunity for Parlour to have a home attached to our beverage partner Falls City Beer, just feels right. We’re beyond excited to bring Parlour’s signature elevated food and service to this great entertainment and dining space.”
Renovations for the transformation have already started. Officials said the redesign will create an atmosphere that reflects "both Falls City’s rich heritage and the distinctive character of Parlour restaurants." When the restaurant opens later this month, it will feature a large outdoor area and will have an "ample amount" of parking available.
“Falls City Beer has been a staple in our restaurants, and we look forward to showcasing it in this new venture," Robinson said. "This partnership has been a great journey, and we’re excited to bring the Parlour experience to this beloved location.”
Parlour Pizza has other locations in downtown Louisville, New Albany, Frankfort Avenue, Jeffersonville, and Jeffersontown.
