Louisville police said they have made an arrest following the fatal shooting of a man in the 2500 block of Woodland Avenue in September.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Three months after a man was shot and killed in the Park Hill neighborhood, police have made an arrest.

Gordon Jackson III, 26, has been charged with murder.

In the early hours of Sept. 8, police said they went to the area of the 2500 block of Woodland Avenue following ShotSpotter reports of a shooting.

Police found a man at that location with multiple gunshot wounds who eventually died from their injuries at the scene.

Two other victims were also injured in the incident.

Gordon was taken into custody on Monday by the Homicide Unit.

In addition to the murder charge, Gordon is facing assault and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

He’s currently booked at Metro Corrections awaiting arraignment.
