Two teenagers have been arrested for their alleged role in a shooting that killed 13-year-old Daviawn Blackmon last month.
Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) said a 15-year-old boy has been charged with murder, attempted murder, complicity to first-degree robbery and tampering with physical evidence. A 16-year-old boy has also been charged with complicity to murder, complicity to first-degree robbery and possession of a handgun by a minor.
Both boys, who are from Louisville, were arrested Wednesday night.
LMPD has not released their identities or any additional information due to their age.
Blackmon was found shot to death in the 700 block of South 38th Street in the Chickasaw neighborhood on June 26.
LMPD's Homicide Unit's investigation remains ongoing, a department spokesperson said.
