LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Three Heine Brothers locations were apparently “targeted” in a string of burglaries that happened over the weekend.

Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) said burglaries were reported at two coffee shops on Bardstown Road and one on Frankfort Avenue late Sunday night.

It’s unclear what all was stolen at this time. WHAS11 has reached out to Heine Brothers for comment, however the local chain has yet to respond.

An LMPD spokesperson said investigators believe the coffee shops were “targets,” adding that there is no indication the thefts were part of a larger operation.

No suspects have been arrested, however LMPD said its investigation remains ongoing.
