Louisville police arrest 44-year-old man tied to deadly Bon Air shooting

Police said Lacardo Wilson has been taken into custody two months after Aubrey Spry Jr. died following a shooting on March 2.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville police have made an arrest, two months after died following a shooting in the Bon Air neighborhood.

Lacardo Wilson, 44, has been charged with murder.

Wilson’s arrest is related to the death of 57-year-old Aubrey Spry Jr.

Spry was found with a gunshot wound in the area of Del Rio Place and Commander Drive on March 2. He was taken to the hospital for treatment but died on March 6.

Investigators said Spry was able to contact his girlfriend and identify Wilson as the shooter. 

Wilson was taken into custody on Tuesday.

He’s being held at Metro Corrections and is awaiting arraignment.
