LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man has turned himself in on Friday after a deadly hit-and-run happened in the Russell neighborhood on July 6.
Louisville Metro Police said 18-year-old Breydn Taylor hit a 26-year-old woman near the intersection of 16th and West Jefferson Streets.
When police arrived to the scene, authorities said they performed life-saving measures on her until she got transported to the hospital, where she later died.
Taylor is charged with leaving the scene of an accident/failure to render aid, and tampering with physical evidence.
