LMPD said Mt. Washington Police released more details to them about the incident. On May 21, LMPD confirmed Davis’s police powers were limited.

Some of Davis’s issued equipment was surrendered and he was placed on "administrative light duty" while Mt. Washington continued their investigation.

Police did not disclose any further details of the crash but said Mt. Washington’s investigation “led them to swear out a warrant of arrest” for Davis on Tuesday afternoon.

He was taken into custody by the Public Integrity Unit and is currently housed at Metro Corrections.

LMPD said Davis's charges are tampering with physical evidence, criminal mischief, leaving the scene of an accident and reckless driving.

Davis is currently on administrative leave.
