LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisvillians have the chance to check out the Norton West Louisville Hospital weeks before it officially opens on Nov. 11.
Starting Monday, anyone who signed up to check out the space will get a tour of the facility.
While the community tour slots are full according to its website, there will be a virtual tour video available on Oct. 28.
Community tours are 30 minutes long, and take guests through different areas like the emergency department and diagnostic imaging lab.
This is the first hospital built west of 9th street in more than 150 years.
It's located at 28th Street and Broadway.
There will also be a block party on Oct. 26 celebrating both the hospital and the Goodwill West Louisville Opportunity Center. A monument unveiling will happen at 11 a.m., and the party will go from noon to 4 p.m. at the Norton West Louisville Hospital.
